About Me

Hi there!

My name is Jannick, I am a Graphic Designer specialising in graphics for film & television. I’ve been working in the movie industry since 2012.

After completing my studies at the Beaux Arts School in France and at the UQAM in Montreal, I graduated from Le Fresnoy (National Studio of Contemporary Arts). I started working in Post-Production, where my projects mostly involved the design of opening titles, animated texts and motion design. Simultaneous to these, I pursued my own creative endeavours as a visual artist and my works have been showcased across galleries and salons in France.

Other than the technical skills required to create graphics for film, I deeply enjoy the creative process of bringing narratives to life, to help make a script become real, and to support the vision of a story.

I have been part of some exciting productions so far, in Europe as well as in USA. These include recreating early 1900s Paris streets in Budapest, reimagining 1950s New York Butcher Shops, redesigning a contemporary dilapidated police station in Marseille (South of France), and reconstructing a replica of the Bourget Airport in a studio in Belgrade, to name a few...

As a Film and Television Graphic Designer, I create detailed elements for the Art Department, Set Decoration, Props, Costumes... Starting from intricate research, formulation of ideas and options to design and execution.

I have a passion for exploring how storytelling can be woven with visual tools surrounding the action and my greatest strength is limitlessly imagining these designs regardless of time periods — past, present or future.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. If you would like to have a chat about my availability or potential collaborations, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Thanks for reading !
